Hosea James Givan II, M.S., M.P.S., was born in Chicago, IL, and raised in Hollis, Queens (NY). He was blessed with two community-minded parents who instilled in him and his brothers and sister a deep sense of obligation to engage in community service. Hosea has been featured for his work on FOX, ABC, CNN, NY1 and News 12. He has received numerous awards for his giving back to the community. Hosea chairs the National Give Back for Kids Campaign, hosts a weekly cable show, "IGNITE! EMPOWER! TRANSFORM!" and has authored two books, "Reach Your Community" and "Son of a Harlem Girl."
